Worldometer License Terms and Conditions
Dadax Limited Liability Company DBA Worldometer ("Worldometer") hereby grants to the Licensee a non-exclusive, limited license to display the purchased Worldometer counters on a single website (unique domain name) or digital installation.
“Counters” means the data Worldometer has assembled, analyzed, and processed, Worldometer proprietary algorithm that calculates the current estimated value, Worldometer software that prepares and assembles the values for delivery, the internet feed that can be implemented by Licensee in such a way so to display data dynamically on a webpage, screen, or other platforms via HTML implementation or JSON feed, and Worldometer selection and compilation of statistics.
The License is granted for the indicated licensing term (1 year for the standard license, up to 90 days for the single event license) and, for the standard license, renews at the end of every year unless cancelled.
In consideration for the grant of the license and the use of the counters, Licensee agrees to pay Worldometer an annual subscription fee in the agreed amount.
No refunds are warranted for unused counters, and for unused or partially used periods during the year.
The fee payment must be made at the beginning of each year via PayPal subscription (automatic recurring charge), credit card payment, bank wire transfer, or other agreed payment method.
Licensee shall not license, or sublicense the counters, or transfer or convey the counters or any right in the counters to anyone else.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, Worldometer COUNTERS ARE PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Worldometer SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SUITABILITY OR AVAILABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
You understand that the main purpose of the provided real time statistics is to give an indicative visual representation of the speed, direction, and magnitude at which the data changes and not the accurate amount at any given time.
Worldometer warrants that it is the owner of the counters and it has full right and power to enter and performs its obligations under this Licensing agreement.
9. Limitation of Liability.
You expressly understand and agree that Worldometer shall not be liable to you for:
a) any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages which may be incurred by you, however caused and under any theory of liability. This shall include, but not be limited to, any loss of profit or revenue (whether incurred directly or indirectly), any loss of goodwill or business reputation, any loss of data suffered, cost of procurement of substitute goods or services, or other intangible loss;
b) any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising out of or related to Worldometer web site or the information contained in it, whether such damages arise in contract, negligence, tort, under statute, in equity, at law or otherwise;
c) any loss or damage which may be incurred by you, including but not limited to loss or damage as a result of:
- any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the information on counters and the services provided;
- any changes which Worldometer may make to the data, or for any permanent or temporary cessation in the provision of the data or counters (or any related features);
Worldometer takes no responsibility for and will not be liable for Worldometer web servers being temporarily unavailable resulting in the counters being temporarily unable to display the data on Licensee's website, screen, or other platform.
Statistics and data may contain inaccuracies or errors. Statistics and data may be changed or updated without notice. Worldometer may also make improvements and/or updates in the counters at any time without notice. Worldometer takes absolutely no responsibility for any errors on the counters. Any reliance you place on the information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
10. Governing Law.
This Agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the state of Delaware (USA).
